ENGLEWOOD — A bank in Englewood recently went through a promotion spree.

All five of the principal retail banking officers at Englewood Bank & Trust were promoted to vice president and assistant vice president positions. Michelle Ravagni and Kristina Watts are both newly appointed VPs, and Charlene Dorio, Alison Henderson and Gretchen Holla were all promoted to assistant VP posts.

“These knowledgeable and talented women are committed to helping our customers reach their financial goals,” Bank President Kevin Hagan says in a statement. “They are leaders at the bank and in their communities. We appreciate each of them and congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition.”

The promotion was nothing new to Ravagni, who has been with the bank since 2006 as a member of the retail support team. She quickly moved through the ranks during her time there; first as a head teller, and then onto retail banking officer and manager of the Gulf Cove office, the release states. In January 2020, she was promoted once again to assume a management position.

Also having been with the company for a long time, Watts has seen different roles throughout her career. During the 18 years she’s been with Englewood Bank, Watts has been a customer service representative, assistant branch manager, financial relationship officer and branch manager, the release states.

Dorio has spent her 22 years with the bank focused on training retail staff on systems, process changes and procedures to provide a consistent approach to the delivery of products and services in the Englewood market area.

In addition to being a new assistant VP, Henderson is the retail banking officer at the Rotonda/Cape Haze and Gulf Cove offices. She’s been with the bank since 2007, when she started as a teller at the Gulf Cove office.

The newest addition, Holla, is the retail banking officer at the Boca Grande office. While she brought more than 20 years of experience with her to the bank, she joined in 2019 as a personal banker at the Gulf Cove office.
