DwellGreen, an energy technology firm based in Sarasota, will soon begin adding clients in Tampa and St. Petersburg.

The company announced that it would enter that market with the hiring of Dusty Swartz as its new regional manager. Swartz is a former entrepreneur, having recently launched an alternative fuel distribution company.

Last month, DwellGreen received $1.25 million in funding to help grow its business, with $1 million coming from a round of angel investment, and another $250,000 coming from Sarasota County in the form of a jobs grant.

DwellGreen offers home evaluations to consumers that could identify potential savings in energy, water or insurance costs. The company was profiled in an August 2009 edition of the Business Review.
