Development company recruits new officer from Pulte

Seagate Development Group taps Mike Meeks as chief operating officer, was regional vice president of national homebuilder.

FORT MYERS — Mike Meeks has been named COO of Seagate Development Group.

Meeks will be responsible for day-to-day operations, overseeing the execution of corporate strategies and aligning and prioritizing company investments, according to a statement. 

A 30-plus year building industry veteran, Meeks has extensive experience in all aspects of construction operations including recruiting and development, purchasing, customer service and product development, the release adds. Prior to joining Seagate, he was regional vice president of construction operations for PulteGroup, where he managed and developed operations teams nationwide. 

“We are pleased to welcome Mike to Seagate’s executive team,” says Seagate partner James Nulf in the statement. “His proven leadership and commitment to excellence align nicely with our corporate strategies and will be instrumental in achieving the company’s overall objectives and goals.”
