NAPLES — Diamond Custom Homes named Mike Swanson as purchasing manager. He has more than 20 years experience as an estimator/purchasing agent.
Swanson will be responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies; tracking and reporting key metrics; sourcing equipment, goods and services; and managing vendors and suppliers.
“Mike’s widespread experience in building and adhering to comprehensive detailed budgets for both custom homes and remodels, plan tracking and cost analysis will help identify forecasting demand and minimize purchasing costs,” says Diamond Custom Homes President Michael Diamond. “He will analyze our current buying systems and create the best methods for day-to-day purchasing operations to ensure project/department milestones/goals are met."
Before joining Diamond, Swanson was director of purchasing for custom homebuilders and construction firms in Southwest Florida. Diamond Custom Homes was founded by Michael Diamond, its president, in 2010. The company builds homes from Marco Island to Sarasota. The company is based in Naples.
