Harley dealer heads west for new store
Scott Fischer Enterprises plans to add a Harley-Davidson location in Southern California, which will be the seventh store for the company nationwide.
The company did not disclose the exact location or size of the store because the acquisition won't be complete until later this quarter. But the deal is for an existing store in the greater Los Angeles area.
In addition to Six Bends Harley-Davidson in Fort Myers and Naples Harley-Davidson, Scott Fischer Enterprises also owns Rocket Harley-Davidson in Huntsville, Ala., Blue Ridge Harley-Davidson in Hickory, N.C., and two dealerships in Albuquerque, including Thunderbird Harley-Davidson and Duke City Harley-Davidson.
Sean Delaney, formerly president of Scott Fischer Enterprises, will become the partner and general manager of the Southern California location.
Barbecue chain connects with baseball
For the fifth year in a row, Rib City BBQ has signed on as an official concession vendor at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers for the Boston Red Sox spring training.
The barbecue chain will serve as a vendor under Aramark, the Red Sox food and beverage partner and concessionaire, according to a statement. It will begin serving its food at the baseball park March 2.
Rib City was founded in Fort Myers in 1989. The family-owned chain has 27 locations in eight states.

Daytime cafe signs franchisee for 18 locations
First Watch, a breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant chain, reached an agreement with Mac Haik Enterprises to develop up to 18 restaurants in Texas and Louisiana.
Haik was the largest franchisee with The Egg & I before Manatee County-based First Watch acquired it in May 2015, according to a statement. Haik owned 30 of the 114 The Egg & I locations.
“I had the opportunity to get to know (First Watch CEO) Ken Pendery and his team at First Watch during the transaction, and as I learned more about the First Watch concept, it reignited my passion to be in the daytime cafe business,” Haik says in the statement. “I'm happy to be doing it with the segment leader.”
Haik's First Watch restaurants will feature the chain's new design and updated menu, the statement says. The first location is expected to open in College Station, Texas, in mid-2016, and the franchisee eyes other growing markets such as Houston, Austin and San Antonio, in addition to Baton Rouge.
First Watch has more than 275 restaurants in 26 states, including more than 140 First Watch restaurants, 116 The Egg & I restaurants, 18 The Good Egg locations and one Bread & Co. restaurant.
Roofing company lands Tampa airport gig
Sutter Roofing Co. was awarded the roofing and sheet metal contracts for a construction project at Tampa international Airport that has a total value of $953 million.
Sutter will work with Skanska Construction on the main terminal expansion and The Beck Group/Austin Commercial on the consolidated rental car facility and automated people mover expansion, the release says. The project, scheduled for completion by spring 2017, will require more than 50,000 total hours of work from the roofing company.
“This is a great project for us with long-term customers that know they can count on us to deliver a quality and timely installation,” says Sutter Roofing President Doug Sutter in the release. “Our local Tampa workforce is very excited to be a part of this tremendous project for our region.”
Founded in 1902, Sutter Roofing works on commercial projects in the Southeast. The firm began its Florida operation in 1979.

Bank reports larger results
Seminole-based First Home Bank recorded net income of nearly $2.4 million in 2015, a 261% increase from 2014, when it had $652,000 in profits.
The bank also grew significantly in fourth quarter last year, posting net income of $878,000 — up 304% over the 2014 fourth quarter, when it posted $217,000.
First Home Bank CEO Anthony Leo, in a statement, called the year outstanding. “We achieved record earnings while maintaining strong asset quality and loan loss reserves,” Leo says.
First Home Bank operates full-service offices in Seminole and Pinellas Park and has loan production offices in St. Petersburg and Wesley Chapel. The bank had $100.3 million in total assets through Sept. 30, according to Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. data.
Waste collection firm names top executive
Waste Pro USA named Tim Herman senior vice president and chief development officer, according to a statement.
Herman has 30 years' experience in the waste and recycling collection industry, which includes the founding of two waste brokerage firms and leadership experience with solid waste and recycling companies.
Waste Pro, based in Longwood, has a significant presence in the Tampa region.
