Contractor names project manager

D. Alan Bennett will oversee health care and commercial projects for Stevens Construction.

FORT MYERS – Stevens Construction has hired D. Alan Bennett as project manager. He will have overall responsibility for the management and execution of health care and commercial projects during all phases of design and construction, according to a statement.

Bennett will also work with the design team to provide cost savings and feasibility analysis, as well as to negotiate and award vendor contracts, hold owner/subcontractor meetings and monitor the construction team. 

With 15 years of experience, Bennett has been project manager on more than $140 million worth of health care and commercial projects, completing surgery centers, medical offices and senior care facilities throughout Florida. He was most recently the project manager for a 110,000-square-foot assisted living facility in Sarasota.

With offices in Fort Myers, Tampa and Orlando, Stevens Construction provides construction management, general contracting and consulting services. Other services include site and design team selection, budgeting, project scheduling, permitting, cost and quality control and warranty service.
