Contractor awarded surgery center contract
FORT MYERS — Stevens Construction has been awarded the construction management services contract for Performance Health Surgery Center. It will be the 10th surgical facility completed by Stevens.
Construction is underway for 17,000-square-foot, four-operating-room, 17-bed, orthopedic and spine-based surgery center at 16501 Three Oaks Parkway in Fort Myers near the Alico Road exit at I-75. Scheduled for completion in winter 2018, it will be licensed and inspected by the Agency for Health Care Administration, which ensures regulatory compliance for health care facilities throughout Florida.
The Stevens Construction team includes Project Manager Michael Waskiewicz, Project Administrator Angie Sugg and Superintendent Mike Garland. Architectural services were provided by Joseph Sziabowski.
