BONITA SPRINGS — Gates Construction named Tom Rife senior estimator.
Rife’s responsibilities include comprehensive estimating, labor estimates and developing subcontractor scopes and bidding criteria. Rife collaborates with executive staff and the project team in all preconstruction services including sequencing, design review, constructibility and life cycle analysis, value engineering, cost/budget analysis and strategic planning for all aspects of the projects.
Rife has more than 30 years of experience in estimating and project management. He will be based at the company’s headquarters in Bonita Springs.
Gates Construction provides management, general contracting and design-build services for commercial, health care, multifamily, club and hospitality and institutional construction. It has offices in Sarasota and Palm Beach Gardens, and operates throughout the Southeast and Latin America.
