Community bank names new loan officer

Mark Rogers brings 15 years of experience to Sanibel Captiva Community Bank.

FORT MYERS — Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has hired Mark Rodgers as a loan officer at the Gateway Branch in Fort Myers. With more than 15 years of banking experience, he is responsible for originating commercial and residential real estate loans.

Rodgers moved to Southwest Florida in 1981. His banking experience includes assistant vice president of mortgage loans and commercial lending and vice president of private banking. He was on the founding board of directors of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida and served on the Associated Home Health Industries of Florida board of directors.

Founded in 2003, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has two locations on Sanibel Island and five in Fort Myers. The bank is nationally ranked in the top 20 as a best-performing community bank by S&P Global Market Intelligence from among more than 4,500 banks with assets under $1 billion. It has $415 million in total assets.
