CEO of St. Pete Chamber resigns

John T. Long, III will resign from his position as president and CEO of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce effective Aug. 2, a release said.

Concurrently, the chamber announced that Mary Lallucci, a senior vice president with Right Management, would take over as interim president and CEO.

After four years as president, Long leaves the chamber to pursue other opportunities. ““I am looking forward to taking a new and exciting direction that will offer me a fulfilling new challenge,” Long said in a release.

The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce has more than 2,400 members, and has been an active organization for 110 years.
