BUYER: Siesta Key Station Inc. (principals; Mason Tush Jr., Mason Tush III and Aledia Tush), Sarasota

SELLER: Xeena O Inc.

PROPERTY: 1250 Stickney Point Road, Sarasota

PRICE: $950,000

PREVIOUS PRICE: $1.19 million, April 2003

LAW FIRM ON DEED: Norton Hammersley Lopez & Skokos PA, Sarasota

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Mason Tush Jr. his wife, Aledia Tush, and their son Mason Tush III purchased a 2,950-square-foot former BP gas station for $950,000.

The price equated to $322 per square foot.

The BP station closed earlier this year. The building was originally constructed in 1969, and it was last renovated in 1998.

The Tush family has owned and operated nearby CB's Saltwater Outfitters for the nearly 35 years.

“With the two business close together we felt it would make it easier,” says Aledia Tush. “It's still a little up in the air now, but our plans right now are to reopen it as a gas station. We feel that it's a valuable piece of a property that works into our plans for the future.”

She says they plan to take their time evaluating the future of the property.

Lee DeLieto Sr. of Michael Saunders & Co. represented the seller.

The Tushes' purchase entity Siesta Key Station Inc. mortgaged the property to Citizens Deposit Bank & Trust for $760,000.

CB's Saltwater Outfitters offers bait and tackle, charters, boat and Jet Ski rentals and other retail products.
