Contractors throughout the region vie for inclusion each year in the Business Observer’s Top Contractors issue.

The issue ranks the top 50 contractors in the region by revenue, amounting to a valuable who’s-who guide to the industry. The 2020 Top Contractors issue will include information about the most important projects the companies started in 2019 and the most notable projects in their portfolios. It also lists company principals, specialties and total employees they have.

The top spot in the 2019 issue of Top Contractors went to Naples-based Manhattan Construction Group, at $1.35 billion in 2018 gross revenue. At No. 50 in last year’s issue, Venice-based Absolute Aluminum had $18.05 million in 2018 gross revenue.

The range of contractors on the list has included a host of sectors, including general, masonry, roofing, landscape, HVAC, electrical, road, pool, plumbing and more. Contractors based from Tampa to Naples, plus Polk County, are eligible to submit for the Top Contractors issue. To submit, please visit businessobserverfl.com/top-contractors-submit. Submissions are due by Thursday, Feb. 6.

Please email Business Observer Sarasota-Manatee Editor Grier Ferguson at [email protected] with any questions.

The Business Observer looks forward to receiving and reviewing Top Contractors submissions.
