The Sarasota Business Ethics Alliance has announced that it will hold its first annual Sarasota Business Ethics Awards event in January 2011.
On April 12, the group will host a panel discussion, titled “Practicing Business Ethics Improves Performance,” to promote the awards event. The discussion will take place at 4 p.m., and will focus on ethics' impact on leadership and productivity.
Panelists will include Stephen Martin, senior vice president of Canandaigua National Bank; Allen Carlson, president of Sun Hydraulics; Jennifer Compton, an attorney with Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick; and Ross Alander, of USF Sarasota-Manatee's College of Business.
The panel will be moderated by Cookie Boudreaux, principal at Mark Kamin & Associates. There is no cost to participate, and reservations can be made by e-mailing the organization at [email protected].
