The aggressive growth strategy at convenience store and gas station chain 7-Eleven has been a boost for Cape Coral-based Creighton Construction.

The company, according to a release, recently completed two full-service 7-Eleven locations, one in Fort Myers and another in Fort Lauderdale. Prior to that, the firm also built a 7-Eleven on Estero Parkway in Estero. Creighton, the release adds, has built several dozen 7-Eleven locations nationwide in the past few years and is currently working on four more stores in Florida and Texas.

Dan Creighton and Brent Evans founded Creighton Construction in 2007, initially seeking to capitalize on the need for commercial development in Cape Coral.

7-Eleven is the world's largest convenience store chain, operating, franchising and licensing stores in 18 countries. About 10,800 of the 59,500 7-Eleven stores worldwide are in North America.
