By day, Mike Davis is an executive director and investment specialist for Cushman & Wakefield of Florida in Tampa.

By night, he's a rock n' roll star.

Well, maybe not a touring international icon, but Davis is known locally as a guitarist who has played solo and in various bands for about 30 years.

Soon, he will join some other commercial real estate people and musicians from the Tampa Bay area including Les Sabler, Hans Kaunath, Joe Seidle, Ed Isolani, Stefan Owens, Peter Owens, Steve Daniels, Bob Hofer, Pattie DeWitt and others.

Actually Sabler is an accomplished jazz guitarist with several CDs out.

The unnamed group recently announced that they will be doing River Jam, a concert May 1 at 100 N. Kennedy Blvd. in downtown Tampa, from 7 to 11 p.m. Sabler will likely make a more brief appearance than the rest of the band, Davis told Coffee Talk.

The band asks that people RSVP to Joe Seidle, senior associate at The Krauss Organization, at [email protected].

The event is free. But people can make donations there for Haley House, a non-profit organization that gives families a place to stay near veterans receiving long-term care at the James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital.

And of course, if you happen to need any office, retail or industrial space, there will be plenty of folks there to help you.
