BONITA SPRINGS — Premier Sotheby’s International Realty recently named Erin McDonald the new managing broker of the company’s Bonita Springs, Sanibel and Captiva sales offices.

McDonald succeeds Chris Maccarone, who served in the role since 2017 until announcing her retirement last month, according to a statement. McDonald, with two decades in real estate, was most recently the managing broker for LIV Sotheby’s International Realty’s Cherry Creek office in Denver. She has sales, marketing and leadership experience in real estate.

“I am delighted that Erin is taking on this role in one of our most dynamic markets,” Premier Sotheby’s International Realty President and CEO Budge Huskey says in the statement. “Her expert knowledge of our global brand and track record of success will be an asset to our company. I am confident that she will continue Chris’ legacy of providing elevated service in a positive environment that supports customers and sales associates.”

“Premier Sotheby’s International Realty has a stellar reputation in the industry,” adds McDonald. “I am truly honored and excited to join this team and am looking forward to working with an incredibly talented group of sales associates. On a personal note, after traveling extensively to Southwest Florida for many years, I am thrilled to make this coastal paradise my home.”

Headquartered in Naples, Premier Sotheby’s International Realty has more than 1,400 associates and employees in 40 locations throughout Florida and North Carolina. A division of The Lutgert Cos., it posted $7.1 billion in sales volume in 2020.
