TAMPA — British IT staffing agency Frank Recruitment Group has chosen Tampa for its latest U.S. location and plans to hire 100 people to fill sales consultants positions at the new office, which opens June 4 at 501 E. Kennedy Blvd. in downtown Tampa.
Headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom, Frank Recruitment Group also has U.S. offices in New York City, Philadelphia, Dallas and San Francisco. According to a press release, the company chose Tampa because of the city’s fast-growing technology labor pool and burgeoning millennial population.
“Opening a new office here was an absolute no-brainer for us,” states Sunny Ackerman, Frank Recruitment Group’s president of Americas, in the release. “The fight for the best tech talent is absolutely putting Tampa on the map because it ranks very well in terms of quality of life and is famously pro-business.”
Frank Recruitment Group specializes in filling niche IT roles, a focus that has driven significant growth. In 2016, TPG Growth, the middle market and growth equity fund of alternative asset firm TPG, invested in the company, the release states; Frank's recent success has also seen it open an office in Berlin, Germany.
