SARASOTA — Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty has expanded its presence in Sarasota and Manatee counties through the addition of Sarasota-based Charity & Weiss International Realty LLC.
Charity & Weiss International Realty was founded in 2006 by owners and real estate brokers Gabriele Charity and Ruediger Weiss, according to a press release. Charity and Weiss, along with their team, focus on international residential real estate, domestic real estate, property management and commercial sales, the release adds.
Charity and Weiss will remain with the company as team leaders of the Charity & Weiss International Group of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty. Terms of the arrangement weren't disclosed.
“Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty’s core values, active global expansion, vision and technology platform are an excellent match for our team," says Weiss in a statement. "We believe that the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty brand will resonate extremely well with our customers and sales professionals alike."
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty serves 21 counties in Florida with over 40 locations and about 1,750 sales professionals, the release states.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices was founded in 1999. It is a subsidiary of Lennar Corp.
