Belleview Place, featuring a restoration of the former Belleview Biltmore Hotel, nears completion.
BELLEAIR — Belleview Place has begun to sell units in Magnolia, its fourth and final mid-rise condominium building, and topped off the third building, known as Sunset.
The new community is being developed by St. Petersburg-based JMC Communities atop a 35-foot bluff next to Belleair Country Club, near Clearwater. The site is also home to the Belleview Inn, comprised of the restored lobby and 35 guestrooms of the former Belleview Biltmore Hotel.
According to a press release, residents have already begun to move into units in the first two buildings. When complete, Belleview Place will offer 100 mid-rise luxury condominium units, as well as 26 two-story carriage homes. Prices start from the $700,000s.
“The history, architecture and social aspects of the original Belleview Biltmore Hotel on this site were the inspiration for Belleview Place,” JMC CEO Michael Cheezem states in the release. “We are creating a community that recreates that unique sense of place with its celebrated history, natural beauty and shared interests among residents.”
A golf and social membership at Belleair Golf & Country Club is included with the purchase of a Belleview Place residence, the release states.
