Subcontractor firm hires 30-year veteran as project manager

John Hyatt brings mechanical contractor experience to employee-owned B&I Contractors.

FORT MYERS — Employee-owned speciality subcontractor and building services firm B&I Contractors named John Hyatt project manager.

Hyatt brings 30 years of mechanical contractor experience, specializing in plumbing, piping, HVAC install and retrofit, and sheet metal, according to a statement. 

“We are fortunate to have John as part of our team,” says B&I Senior Project Manager Ashley Fernandez in a statement. “His years of experience and expertise will further support our project management team in overseeing all aspects of specified projects.”

Founded in 1960 and headquartered in Fort Myers, B&I has offices in Tamarac, Sarasota and Tampa. The company specializes in construction and building maintenance services for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pipefitting, refrigeration, sheet metal and CAD engineering for clients in commercial, institutional and industrial industries.
