Attorney leaves own firm to join practice in shareholder role

Gregory Herman-Giddens joined the Southwest Florida firm after running his own firms.

FORT MYERS — A Southwest Florida law firm added a new attorney who previously ran his own law firms to its estate planning and trust administration department in Naples.

The firm, Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., announced Gregory Herman-Giddens joined the firm as a stockholder, according to a news release. Prior to joining the firm, he ran his own law firm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina; Miami, Florida; and New York City. 

In his 30-plus year legal career, Herman-Giddens offers a full array of estate planning and related services, including creation of irrevocable trusts, estate, gift, fiduciary and individual income tax planning and compliance, the release says. Herman-Giddens is a regular speaker at continuing education programs and frequently serves as an expert witness throughout the United States in trust and estate lawsuits.

Henderson Franklin operates offices in Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples.
