TAMPA — Fintech, a Tampa-based business solutions provider for the beverage alcohol industry, has named Dan Gaertner chief technology officer.

According to a press release Gaertner boasts 20 years of leadership experience in technology and product software. At Fintech, he will be involved in product acquisitions, organizational strategy and technology growth.

“Dan’s extensive experience leading technology teams during times of expansion will be an invaluable asset to Fintech as we continue the rapid growth of both our product platform and our company,” Fintech President Tad Phelps states in the release. “Dan joins us at the perfect time and his ability to produce and implement creative digital solutions that align with overall business goals will yield a competitive advantage.”

Prior to joining Fintech, the release states, Gaertner worked for a variety of web-based and Software-as-a-Service technology companies, most recently Community Brands, where he served as executive vice president. He has also worked for Autotrader.com, Homes.com and Remax.com.

“Fintech has built a strong foundation and large client base within the beverage alcohol industry and they continue to change the game with software products that make industry partners more efficient and more successful,” Gaertner states in the release. “What excites me about Fintech is our unique ability to leverage client relationships and data insights into smarter, data-driven tools that solve the pain points that still exist around alcohol ordering, pricing, delivery, payment and analysis.”
