Airport adds new nonstop flights to Louisville, St. Louis

Spirit Airlines will begin the daily service in November

FORT MYERS — Spirit Airlines recently announced it will introduce nonstop flights to Kentucky and Missouri from Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers. (RSW). 

The flights, from RSW to Louisville and St. Louis, under the call letters, SDF and STL, respectively, will begin November 2021, according to a statement from the Lee County Port Authority. 

The airline will begin daily service between RSW and STL. There will be four flights a week between RSW and SDF. 

According to a separate statement from Spirit Airlines, it is “the leader in providing customizable travel options.” The airline provides service throughout the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean.
