Accounting firm names statewide leader

HBK CPAs & Consultants recently promoted two executives.

FORT MYERS — HBK CPAs & Consultants has promoted two Southwest Florida executives to enhanced senior leadership roles.

The firm, based in Canfield, Ohio, named Barry Holes principal in charge for the firm’s five Florida offices, in Fort Myers, Naples, Sarasota, Stuart and West Palm Beach, according to a statement. He’s been a firm principal since 1982, and principal-in-charge of Naples and chair of the executive committee since 2005, the release adds. He provides accounting and tax services to a wide range of clients, from individuals to small and mid-size businesses, including construction contractors, real estate developers, wholesale distributors, manufactures and franchisors.

In addition to Holes, the firm promoted Michael DeLuca to principal-in-charge of the HBK Southwest Florida region, the release states. He’s been with HBK in Southwest Florida since 2013 and was promoted to principal in 2016. DeLuca works with closely held corporations, partnerships, small to mid-size businesses, large private corporations and individuals.

The was founded in 1949 and ranks No. 52 on Accounting Today’s list of the largest U.S. CPA firms, with firm-wide revenues totalling more than $100 million.
