The newest cinema-eatery concept in the region, Alamo Drafthouse, seeks to hire some 45 people for its new Naples location.

The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is scheduled to open in the spring, in the high-end Mercato shopping center. In addition to movies and food, the Alamo will have a nine-hole movie-themed miniature golf course.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has scheduled a job fair for noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 4 at the Mercato, 9118 Strada Place, Suite 8205. To prepare for on-site interviews, candidates should bring a printed copy of their resume and appropriate IDs for employment authorization as listed here, the company says. Interested candidates can also apply online at Careers.Drafthouse.com.

The company says it’s looking to fill full-time and part-time positions for front- and back-of-house, including bar crew member, server, dishwasher and line cook. Benefits, a release states, include “free movies, competitive pay, paid time off, flexible scheduling and comprehensive health benefits like medical, dental and vision, as well as voluntary benefits available to all full-time and part-time teammates.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will feature 11 auditoriums updated with about 650 newly installed luxury recliner seats and 4K digital projection. The menu includes scratch-made food, local beers on draft and craft cocktails, all of which can be eaten in the movie seats, brought by servers.

Alamo Drafthouse, which has 40 locations, is replacing Silverspot Cinema. Silverspot closed in July after 14 years at Mercato. It too operated an elevated movie concept with high-end dining, an enhanced interior design and concierge services.
