The Pickleball Club, a Sarasota company that develops and operates private, membership-based high-amenity indoor pickleball facilities, is moving forward on a project in Palm Beach County.

The company, in a Tuesday statement, says it recently secured site plan approval with a unanimous vote from the Greenacres City Council for the facility. Groundbreaking will take place by the end of the year, the release adds. Greenacres is about 10 miles southwest of West Palm Beach.

This marks the ninth announced location in Florida for The Pickleball Club, founded in 2019. The first location under the brand opened in early 2023 in east Sarasota, just outside Lakewood Ranch.
