National law firm woos attorney for high-ranking role in Naples office

John Wood, an attorney with experience in Tulsa, Oklahoma; London; and Southwest Florida, has joined Quarles & Brady LLP in its Naples office. 

Wood was named of counsel in the Estate, Trust & Wealth Preservation Practice Group for the firm. Wood, according to a statement, advises high-net-worth families and their advisors on domestic and cross-border estate and tax planning matters.

“Quarles is committed to expanding our premier trusts and estates practice in Naples,” Patrick Bitterman, national chair of the Estate, Trust & Wealth Preservation Group, says in the release. “John brings significant knowledge and experience to our team and our focus on providing tailored services to high net-worth clients.”

Wood was an associate with Hall Estill in Tulsa for two years, according to his LinkedIn profile. He later worked for Butler Snow LLP in London for four years, before joining the Florida office of Dentons Cohen & Grigsby, the profile states.

The firm's platform will allow me to effectively serve the diverse tax, financial, business and estate planning needs of high-net-worth clients.”
