Canadian biometrics firm buys Tampa software ID company

Silent Partner Technologies has an office in Tampa and a manufacturing facility in Brandon, according to its website.

Toronto-based biometrics security company BioConnect has acquired Silent Partner Technologies Inc., a Tampa-based software company.

Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Silent Partner, according to a statement, has been a leader in radio frequency identification for the past 20 years. It has more than 1,500 customers spanning EMS and fire to fleet management and heavy machinery compliance.
