Entertainment venue and new towers coming to Water Street Tampa

The 56-acre — and growing — mixed-used development just outside downtown Tampa is expanding as the developer looks to lure expanding companies.

Water Street Tampa, the major mixed-use development just outside the city’s downtown, is expanding.

Strategic Property Partners announced three new projects Monday: a new office building, residential tower and entertainment venue.

SPP did not divulge details about the projects, telling reporters at the company’s Sparkman Wharf headquarters Monday afternoon that it was too soon to know what the various pieces are going to look like or when construction will begin.
